Patrick E. Sweeney began his legal career in 1988 as an associate with an international law firm headquartered in Pittsburgh. His practice focused on all areas of commercial real estate law, and he represented institutional landlords, tenants, lenders, borrowers, parties to sale-leaseback transactions, developers and other parties to commercial real estate and general business transactions. In 1997, he was named partner in charge of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. In 2002, Pat left private practice to become General Counsel for a private investment group headquartered in Pittsburgh, where he oversaw the legal affairs of a family business and its private investments, and focused on real estate, corporate and estate and trust matters. In 2004, Pat became of counsel to Sitko, Rodella and Bruno, LLC, where he concentrates his practice in commercial real estate transactions including commercial leasing, ground leases, purchase and sale agreements, commercial property development, construction contracts, easements and dedications and financing.
